This is a shot of the "kites" that are suspended from the ceiling. They are made up of steel tubes with a cloth stretched over it. The kites are about 36 feet off the floor. They dont look so big while they are in the air.
This is an artist rendition of Arizona desert lifestyle. And yes that is a piggy in the corner.
At the front door, there are two centurions that are to represent the guards of the building. They are made of acrylic ( I think) and use different fruits and images to create each one. This on being red, the other is green.
See the bananas that make up the stomach.
On the sidewalk out front, there are three bronze cast "bugs" that are for decoration. It is hard to see in this pic but the scorpion is eating a little man.
At the butt end of this bug, there is a little man picking up round chips that to me he is soopping up poop! Notice the many shoes!
This last sculpture is a "lady bug". Notice the platforms she is wearing?/? The creation actually looks like a mosquito who is stuck on Prada! Ha Ha Ha!
Nearly all of my punchlist items (these things are little touchups here and there) are nearly complete. This has been a fun job for me and a new one. This is the first convention center for me and along with a hospital and a stadium, my resume continues to grow. I still dont know what my next job will be but for now they are keeping me here for at least another month to help out with things. Every one have a good week and enjoy the weather! It is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!

The kite ceiling is really cool! What project are you going to work on next?
I am not sure what the next project will be. There are some things that the office is chasing but nothing has been finalized yet.
Nice!
