New Colors

With the advice from a good friend, I have changed my background from something dull to something that fits in the season. The old one was ok for a beginning blogger but it was time for a change.

A large milestone in my career occured on Monday the 1st. We officially turned the new Phoenix Convention Center over to the City of Phoenix. The project was slated for around $600 million and we finished it at $584 million. Another project delivered on time and under budget. The scary thing is that because the economy sucks so bad I have not heard yet what my next assignment will be. Hope it is not a bad sign. Anyway, for those that might be interested, on the 27th of this month the city is hosting a open house at the convention center open to the public. They will be serving a free breakfast and will have games and booths set up for entertainment. The light rail will also open this day for public use and everyone can ride the train for free. Could be fun! If more details are needed, ask and I will blog them back.

I do have a few pictures from inside the building that I will post in a day or two.

Christmas is only 21 days away!! Happy Shopping!!!!!
