Katys Tag and tid bits

The tag is about seven random things about myself that people dont know about. Well here it goes.
1. I fell 18 feet out of a tree on a rope swing. But the rope was a garden hose. Garden hoses do not work as a rope swing.

2. While at a pizza buffet, I ate 25 pieces of pizza. I guess that is what hungry missionaries do.

3. I changed my degree from accounting to Japanese in my third year of college.

4. I like to eat most anything but cannot stand liver and onions.

5. I like to listen to music. I was a D.J. in my senior year at high school.

6. I wear contacts. Should have seen the hideous glasses I was wearing before contacts.

7. I got my Eagle Scout at 13 years.

I dont know seven other people to send this to so if you want, feel free to consider yourself tagged.

As far as other tid bits, I am still working on my weight. I have lost four pounds so far and have 9 pounds to go. Kelsi gave a talk in church today and she did a great job. I am proud of her and glad that she is my daughter. Kelsi has been asked to Homecoming and she is excited to go. Cant believe that she is growing into such a pretty young woman. Jolie is still doing gymnastics. She is doing great. The gym class would be better if it wasnt so expensive. Laurie is still mostly enjoying her position at school. There are days that she comes home just frazzled. Trent is still working and going to school.

It has been a pretty good day today and I have enjoyed it. The weather has finally cooled off and it is feeling good. Hope everyone can enjoy this time of year by getting outside and seeing what is really out there. What is out there is those things that I have taken for granted. The songs of the bird, the breeze against my face, a warm embrace from from one of my kids, a pretty flower, and the strength that I know that I am not alone. Have a good week and enjoy.

Kelsi's talk was so good. I think the best of the meeting. I need to come tell her that. Congratulations on the weight loss, hard work paying off. That is cool about the Japanese, I want to hear it sometime.

My favorite Japanese bit was when you answered my phone saying "konichewa" (I have no idea how to spell that!) and then started rambling in japanese. so funnys since it was a pay your bill call! That was like 8 years ago!!! Still makes me laugh!
I hope things are going well for your family. I want to hear when things are working in regards to the unexpected problem you guys got stuck with! Keep your chins up! only not so high that rain will fall in your nose and you will drown! Have a good day!
